Maria focuses on a wide variety of procurement, contracting, financing, and payment structures for large transportation and infrastructure projects. Her expertise traverses design-build-operate-maintain, operate-maintain, toll concession, availability payment, pre-development, construction manager at-risk, and other types of P3 contracts.

She has advised sponsors, procuring authorities, and lenders on a number of leading transactions in the US, and offers strategic and practical advice on a broad range of design, construction, public and private financing, and contract administration matters.

Maria's experience also includes advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition financings and syndicated and bilateral loans.
