Maria Eugenia is an Italian lawyer specialised in EU and national antitrust law. She represents international clients across various industries such as telecommunication, tech, fast-moving consumer goods, oil&gas and transport. She customarily handles cases, as well as related appeals and litigation, involving abuse of dominance, vertical agreements and cartel investigations.
She also has experience in transactional FDI and merger control and has litigated merger cases before EU and national authorities and courts. In addition, she has regulatory expertise and advises clients on the interplay between competition and other policy areas, such as sustainability and data protection.
Maria Eugenia is a member of the Rome Bar Association in Italy. After her law degree, she obtained a post-graduate diploma in EU and Competition law from University of Naples "Federico II" and she further enhanced her qualifications by competing an LL.M. in European Law & Market Integration at Maastricht University, graduating summa cum laude with a master thesis on the enforcement of Article 102 TFEU.
