Madeleine Pope is a partner in our dispute resolution practice
Madeleine is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer whose practice focusses on the resolution of disputes in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
She has acted for owners, contractors, service providers, funders and insolvency practitioners across a range of significant projects, with experience in mediation, adjudication, expert determination, litigation and arbitration both in the UK and Australia. She is regularly involved in providing strategic advice to project teams on distressed projects and has valuable client-side experience, having spent eight months on secondment to a leading UK construction and support services plc.
Madeleine is recognised in the field of contentious construction as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 UK 2021 and as an Up and Coming partner in Chambers and Partners UK 2021. She is a member of the Society for Construction Law and the Technology & Construction Solicitors Association.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Madeleine was the Associate to the Honourable Justice Rene Le Miere of the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
