Lance Jiang is a partner in our restructuring, insolvency and special situations practice
Coming from two decades of experience in the region, he is particularly well placed to advise on complex cross-border restructurings and insolvencies with a Chinese nexus. Throughout his career, Lance has acted for a broad range of stakeholders, including creditors' committees, bondholders, financial institutions, special situation funds, debtors, controlling shareholders, liquidators, agents and trustees in relation to various special situation matters involving NPLs, restructurings, bankruptcies, insolvencies, and reorganisations.
Lance also has experience on a wide spectrum of cross-border structured corporate finance transactions, including acquisition financings, equity margin financings, pre-IPO and leveraged financings, real estate financings and other event driven financings.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Lance practised at leading international firms in Hong Kong, New York and Beijing. He also has extensive experience working as in-house counsel at leading financial institutions in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
