Lachlan Wright

Lachlan is a Senior Associate in the IP/Media Team and has a passion for working with Australian and international clients in the technology, entertainment, sport and retail industries.

Lachlan advises across all areas of contentious and non-contentious IP and media matters, including content creation and procurement, licensing agreements, consumer law issues, sponsorships, media rights, copyright, privacy, trade promotions, advertising and marketing and defamation. 

Lachlan also advises high profile clients in relation to compliance with media and content legislative reforms and has worked on a number of major media rights deals.

Lachlan is an experienced litigator, having worked on a variety of complex Federal Court and Supreme Court disputes relating to defamation, copyright infringement and patents. Lachlan also has a depth of in-house experience and a strong focus on commercial outcomes for clients, which he has developed through a number of in-house secondment postings with clients.
