Kit has a broad range of experience assisting marketing businesses and technology platforms on complex regulatory and transactional matters.
Kit has frequently advised Adobe, Airbnb, Anthropic, Block, Google, LinkedIn, Meta and OpenAI in Australia and Etisalat, G42 group companies (including Khazna and Inception) and the Dubai Future Fund in the UAE on matters relating to technology contracting, privacy, data security, financial services regulations, online safety, consumer protection, platform liability, cyber governance and artificial intelligence.
Kit developed his deep industry and technology law experience in Australia at a market technology law firm which featured annually as a Tier 1 and Band 1 practice in Legal 500, Chambers and other legal ranking bodies and continues to develop his industry knowledge at Ashurst on emerging technologies and systems, including AI contracting and governance.
Kit is a contributing author on a number of AI focused publications, including with the International Technology Law Association’s “Responsible AI” book series and “AI Contracting” lawyers guide (drafted data governance and IP licensing sections). Kit has regularly lectured in the Juris Doctor Program at Melbourne Law School on AI regulation in "Commercial Data Law" and was a sessional tutor in “AI, Ethics and the Law”
