Khoon Leng has over 20 years of experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit, and assurance services within the financial services and energy sectors. She has expertise in process and controls modernisation, providing consulting and assurance services to enhance operational and regulatory effectiveness.
She has extensive experience assessing the design and operating effectiveness of governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks across a wide range of organisations, spanning all Three Lines of Defence (3LoD). Khoon Leng is skilled in identifying systemic issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable remediation and control improvements.
Khoon Leng leads process improvement and automation initiatives that drive operational efficiency and strengthen risk and compliance functions. She is recognised for her strong engagement with Boards and regulators, ensuring alignment with governance standards and regulatory expectations.
