Katrine Tvede is a senior associate in our international dispute resolution practice in Frankfurt and London
Katrine is a senior associate in Ashurst’s international arbitration practice in London.
Katrine focuses her practice on international commercial and investment treaty arbitration but also advises on public international law aspects of other international disputes handled by Ashurst. She has acted as counsel for both corporate and sovereign clients.
Katrine has experience with disputes across a broad range of industries (including mining, financial services, energy, oil and gas, TMT, pharmaceuticals, and the sale of commodities) proceeding under a variety of different rules (including the ICSID Convention and Rules, the UNCITRAL Rules and the rules of major arbitral institutions such as the SCC, ICC, ICDR, and DIS).
She serves as delegate of the Danish National Committee of the ICC on the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and is a Co-Chair of Young ICCA, the world’s leading arbitration knowledge network for young practitioners, functioning under the auspices of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA).
Katrine is admitted to the New York Bar and holds degrees from the University of Copenhagen (LL.B. and LL.M.), Stockholm University (LL.M.) and New York University, School of Law (LL.M.). She is fluent in her native Danish and in English. In addition, she reads Swedish and Norwegian.
