Katrin Hansen

Katrin advises and represents clients in domestic and cross-border disputes before state courts as well as in domestic and international arbitration proceedings from their initiation to enforcement. At the same time, she is always focused on finding solutions that are practical, economical and in line with client´s interests.

In particular, Katrin advises in commercial, construction, corporate and product liability related disputes, but is also experienced in the handling and negotiation of complex mass disputes. She represents clients from different sectors, such as automotive, retail and hotel industry, but most recently focused on the construction sector.

Katrin studied law at the University of Muenster (Dr. jur.) and focused her dissertation on settlements in international arbitration. She was admitted to practice in Germany in 2017 and before joining Ashurst, she worked in the Berlin and Munich offices of other international law firms.
