Joss Dare is a partner in our projects practice and global co-head of our projects practice
Joss specialises in the structuring, development, procurement and privatisation of transport and infrastructure projects across the full range of industry sectors, including rail, ports, roads, airports, health, education, water/wastewater, accommodation, custodial and defence.
He was the Managing Partner of Ashurst's Dubai office (from 2009) and the firm's Head of Middle East (from 2011) until his return to the UK in 2019. He has also previously undertaken the role of the firm's Global Head of Transport. Now based in London, but travelling extensively to cover projects across the Middle East, the UK, Europe, Africa and the Americas, Joss serves as the firm's Global Co-Head of Projects.
Joss has wide-ranging experience of infrastructure transactions, including a number of flagship P3/PPP projects. He has taken a leading role in advising public sector clients as well as sponsors, lenders and sub-contractors in major projects all over the world.
Joss is qualified in England & Wales.
