José Antonio Rodríguez

José Antonio is a State Lawyer (Abogado del Estado) and he specialises in litigation, arbitration and insolvency-restructuring disputes.

José Antonio advises some of the leading financial institutions in pre-litigious matters as well as in court. He has also experience advising corporate groups in claims before the courts and in commercial arbitration disputes (competition law, IT law, product liability, torts risk evaluation, contractual liability claims and damages claims). Moreover, he provides advice on procedural issues regarding international jurisdictional matters, including jurisdictional submission clauses or arbitration provisions in international contracts.

José Antonio has practiced in the State Legal Service in the Superior Court of Madrid in representation and defence of the Government and Public Entities in all jurisdictions. He has also served as a State Lawyer in the General Directorate of Insurance of the Ministry of Economy with active participation in the drafting of important rules and regulations in the sector.
