John Pavlakis is a partner in our dispute resolution practice

John is one of Australia's leading class actions lawyers and also specialises in complex corporate and commercial disputes, government litigation and inquiries.

John has acted in the defence of shareholder class actions, consumer class actions, and class actions against government/statutory bodies. He acted in the seminal High Court case on third party funding (common fund) orders – Brewster. He regularly writes and presents on class action issues.

John also regularly acts for professional services firms in other forms of litigation and investigations. He is recognised by clients as an excellent strategic thinker.
