John Gordon

John is head of the London Pensions team. He has a wide range of experience in all pension-related matters gained through acting for private and publicly listed UK and multinational employers and trustees.

He has particular expertise of advising in relation to pension scheme reorganisations and mergers, corporate transactions (including insolvency and restructuring scenarios), negotiating with the Pensions Regulator and the Pension Protection Fund, as well as advising in relation to pension scheme deficit reduction strategies and changing scheme benefit structures.

John has considerable experience of pension scheme investment matters and sits on the Association of Pension Lawyers Investment Committee.
