Jeremy Chenoweth is a partner in our dispute resolution practice

Jeremy specialises in major commercial, construction and infrastructure disputes. He works closely with clients in the energy and resources sectors, advising on the development and administration of significant private and public infrastructure, power generation plant construction and refurbishments, mining and petroleum lease developments and renewable project developments.

Jeremy works closely with clients to understand their business and strategic objectives. He has held positions on the leadership team of the US $18.5 billion Santos GLNG Project as Queensland Legal Manager and lead construction lawyer, and on secondment as senior in-house Counsel with BHP.  

Clients single out Jeremy's expertise in infrastructure projects and cross-border disputes, and describe him as a "leading construction lawyer", "bright and hardworking" and "constantly thinking of ways to protect the client's position" (Legal 500 Asia Pacific). Jeremy is also acknowledged in Chambers Asia Pacific (international arbitration), Who's Who Legal, Doyle's Guides and Best Lawyers in the field of Construction/Infrastructure, Energy Law, Litigation, Natural Resources and Oil and Gas Law.. 

Jeremy is the joint head of our Australian arbitration practice.  He holds several board appointments and is a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne Law School.
