Jeannette Tam is a counsel in our employment practice
Jeannette Tam is a Counsel in Ashurst’s Employment practice, admitted in Hong Kong and advising multinational employers on complex cross-border employment matters spanning disputes, investigations and workforce transformation across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
Jeannette has over 15 years’ experience spanning top-tier international private practice in Hong Kong and Singapore and a senior in-house advisory role. She advises on global employment and workforce initiatives where legal risk, commercial strategy and organisational change intersect. Jeannette is particularly known for leading international workforce change across extensive global footprints, including future-of-work and workforce redesign initiatives, HR technology and data implementations, and the employment implications of AI and GenAI adoption. Clients value her ability to design commercially practical solutions that can be implemented consistently across multiple countries.
Jeannette also brings substantial experience advising on sensitive workplace and misconduct investigations and high-risk employment issues, including trade union matters, Labour Tribunal disputes and discrimination claims before the Equal Opportunities Commission and District Court in Hong Kong. This experience informs her risk-based approach to workforce change and global delivery.
Before joining Ashurst, Jeannette was Senior Counsel for Global Employment Law at ServiceNow. She previously spent over a decade at premier international law firms in Hong Kong and Singapore.
