Over two decades, he has led firmwide growth and client-centred innovation, serving a range of clients. Jamie focuses on aligning legal services with client priorities and market shifts, helping deliver high-value, unique solutions and reinforcing Ashurst’s reputation as a forward-thinking adviser.

As the global leader and architect of Ashurst’s Risk Advisory practice, Jamie identified a market gap and established a legal-led consulting model that bridges traditional legal services with dynamic risk consulting. Under his leadership, the practice has scaled internationally, providing holistic, risk-informed strategies that help clients navigate complexity with confidence. This work contributed to Ashurst being recognised for “Innovation in the Business of Law: New Solutions” and as “Most Innovative Law Firm Headquartered Outside of Asia Pacific” at the FT Innovative Lawyers APAC Awards 2022.
