Irene Madero is a senior associate in our antitrust, regulatory and trade practice and EU law practice in Paris
Irene assists French and international companies on all aspects on EU and French competition law. She assists clients before the French and European courts and competition authorities, notably in cartel, abuse of dominant position and merger control. She also advises on regulatory issues and represents clients before sector-specific regulatory authorities in the energy and transport sectors.
She holds a Master 2 in European Litigation from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Irene was member of the French Competition Authory's legal service and référendaire at European Court of Justice. She also had a substantial experience working for a French law firm.
Irene is member of the Paris Bar.
Irene speaks Spanish, French and English.
