BROWSE ABOUT USHae-Sang is a senior associate in Ashurst's Projects (Transport & Infrastructure) practice and is based in Sydney and Melbourne. His focus is on construction and engineering projects, particularly in public infrastructure (e.g. transport and public works) and heavy industries (e.g. shipbuilding, rollingstock manufacturing, offshore EPC).
Hae-Sang has led negotiations for a wide variety of high-value complex transactions (EPC contracts, joint ventures, supply agreements, etc.), managed multi-jurisdictional disputes and advised on compliance issues such as trade sanctions and anti modern slavery in his previous roles.
Having spent the majority of his time in legal practice as in-house counsel, Hae-Sang is comfortable with working very closely with project managers, salespeople and engineers in various contexts.
Hae-Sang has a particularly strong interest in serving Korean clients and is fluent in Korean.
