Giulia Carnazza is a senior associate in our competition and antitrust practice
Giulia joined Ashurst in July 2012 as a trainee of the Competition and Antitrust team of the Rome office.
After nine years spent in Paris, Giulia came back to Italy and graduated cum laude in Law. While working at Ashurst, she attended an internship at the Italian Supreme Court concerning the publication of the ECHR judgments and a course on IP, Competition and Communication Law. She then qualified as a lawyer at the Rome Bar in November 2014. In 2015, once she had moved to Brussels, she attended an LLM in European Law at the ULB.
Giulia specialises in advising clients in relation to Articles 101 and 102 TFEU proceedings – before both antitrust authorities and courts at EU and national level – merger notifications, antitrust compliance programmes, contracts review and general advice in relation to EU and national competition law. She speaks fluent French and English.
Giulia is qualified in Italy (Rome Bar) and is registered in the E-List of the Brussels Bar.
