Finlay is qualified in England & Wales and advises on a wide range of UK and EU competition law matters, including merger control, FDI clearance and cartels, before both the European Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority.

Finlay was seconded to the Ashurst Brussels office as a trainee where he developed his experience of EU competition law matters before the European Commission.
