Etay Katz

Etay Katz is a senior partner in our financial regulation practice. He advises a wide range of financial services clients on the impact of regulatory regimes on their operations and in particular on the implementation of strategic transactions. Etay has substantial recent experience in advising leading banks on significant regulatory change projects. He regularly advises on the regulation of both retail and wholesale financial products and services.

Over the last few years Etay has acquired market leading expertise in FinTech transformation and digitalisation within banking, payments and financial market infrastructure.

Etay is the author of the Investment Firm chapter in Oxford University Press' prominent publication Financial Services Law and is the General Editor of Oxford University Press' Financial Services Regulation in Europe. He has been consistently recognised as a leading individual for regulatory advice by prominent directories and is regularly quoted in the press on key regulatory matters.
