Doug Johnson is a senior associate in our employment practice
Doug has a broad range of experience advising clients on employment, industrial relations, and work health and safety matters. This includes advising clients on enterprise agreement negotiations, industrial relations strategy, major safety incidents, business transformation projects, workplace investigations, management of employee grievances, employment related litigation and performance and disciplinary issues.
Doug works across a wide range of industries including airline operations, retail, mining, power and utilities, transport and government.
Doug has particular expertise in work health and safety issues and has assisted clients to respond to major safety incidents, including navigating regulatory investigations and subsequent criminal safety prosecutions.
Doug has assisted clients in conducting and managing proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia, Fair Work Commission, coronial inquests, commissions of inquiry and various tribunals and commissions at the State and Federal level.
