Darren advises lenders and corporate clients on a range of both international and domestic finance transactions. Darren specialises in particular in investment grade syndicated and bilateral loan financing transactions, including event-driven financings. Darren also has experience in acting for all stakeholders, including financial advisers, on public M&A financings as well as expertise in leveraged finance, working with both banks and credit funds on club deals, syndicated facilities and unitranche and super senior RCF transactions.
Darren acted for the arrangers on financings for, among others, Petrofac, Go-Ahead Group plc and Keller Group plc . Borrower-side roles have included, among others, acting for RPC Group plc, Tritax Big Box REIT plc and Tritax EuroBox plc on a variety of financing arrangements across multiple jurisdictions. Darren has spent significant periods of his career on client secondments to MUFG and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
