Daele Tyler is a senior associate in our intellectual property practice
Daele acts for and advises clients on contentious and non-contentious matters across a range of industries, including in the pharmaceutical and life sciences, technology, energy and FMCG sectors. She has particular expertise advising clients on life sciences regulatory matters, investigations and disputes.
Daele regularly acts in complex Federal Court proceedings in relation to trade mark, patent, copyright and consumer law issues. Her experience includes conducting oppositions and removal actions and providing advice on the availability and registrability of trade marks and designs, patent infringement and invalidity analysis, copyright protection and infringement, and brand enforcement and protection strategies. Daele regularly advises clients on counterfeiting and parallel importing matters, and on IP licensing, advertising and consumer law compliance matters. She also has experience advising on complex IP issues in corporate transactions and infrastructure projects.
Daele is also a member of the Victorian committee of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand.
