Christy Kailis

Christy specialises in restructuring, insolvency and special situations. She has extensive experience in domestic and complex cross-border restructurings and workouts, as well as formal insolvency situations.

Her most recent experience in Australia includes advising companies, creditors, directors and insolvency practitioners on various aspects of insolvency and restructuring issues.

Christy has previously worked at one of the leading restructuring US firms based in London for nearly 10 years acting on a number of complex corporate restructuring matters across multiple jurisdictions, including Lehman Brothers. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 2010.
