Bruce specialises in M&A and equity capital markets work. Bruce has managed some of Australia's most significant and innovative transactions and focuses on cost-effective and timely project delivery. In doing so, he regularly liaises with regulatory authorities including the Australian Securities & Investments Commission and the Australian Securities Exchange. Bruce is a member of the Foreign Investment Committee of the Law Council, which is FIRB’s ministerially approved consultation body.
Bruce's clients include various major Australian listed corporations and international funds.
Bruce has advised Aurizon Holdings, Barclays, Berkshire Hathaway, Centuria, Domain Holdings, Nine Entertainment, Goodman Fielder, Helia (formerly Genworth), Nine Entertainment, Optus and various entities owned by SingTel, Platinum Asset Management, Qantas, Ramsay Health Care, Washington H. Soul Pattinson and a range of domestic and international funds.
Bruce's management skills ensure 'no surprises'. This assists him in advising in a manner easily accessible by clients and in the delivery of projects within cost and time budget. Bruce has advised clients in a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, telecommunications and insurance on capital markets activity (including initial public offerings, secondary raisings, buy-backs and capital reductions), regulated M&A (including bids and schemes of arrangements) and private M&A.
