Bruce is a partner in our corporate practice
Specialising in capital raisings, M&A and securities regulation, Bruce has project managed some of Australia's most significant and innovative transactions and focuses on cost-effective and timely project delivery. In doing so, he regularly liaises with regulatory authorities including the Australian Securities & Investments Commission and the Australian Securities Exchange. Bruce is a member of the Foreign Investment Committee of the Law Council, which is FIRB’s ministerially approved consultation body for certain purposes.
Bruce's clients include various major Australian listed and unlisted corporates, international funds and government entities or agencies. Clients for whom Bruce has advised include Range International, Goodman Fielder, Genworth, Qantas, Berkshire Hathaway, Platinum Asset Management, nbn and a range of domestic and international private equity and "hedge" funds.
Bruce's management skills ensure "no surprises". This assists him in advising in a manner easily accessible by clients and in the delivery of projects within cost and time budget. Bruce has advised clients in a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, telecommunications and insurance on capital markets activity (including initial public offerings, secondary raisings, buy-backs and capital reductions), regulated M&A (including bids and schemes of arrangements) and project work.
