Ben Patton is a partner in our real estate practice and head of our construction team
Ben specialises in non-contentious construction, acting for employers, developers, contractors and consultants in the drafting and negotiation of all forms of construction documentation, including building and civil engineering contracts, consultancy agreements, collateral warranties and forms of security for both public and private sector clients.
He has particular expertise in complex large-scale development projects in the real estate, energy, transport and infrastructure sectors. Clients highlight his 'calm and very professional' style and say he 'has the quality of acting as a really good sounding board for issues and will come up with alternative solutions that achieve a good outcome for our business'.
Ben is ranked as a Leading Individual in the Legal 500 UK and features as a Notable Practitioner in the IFLR 1000. He is also a member of the City Property Association, the Society of Construction Law and sits on the drafting committee of the JCT.
