Anneke is a New Zealand qualified environment and planning lawyer with extensive experience advising on all aspects of planning, environmental, and regulatory matters. She provides advice both generally and in the context of major transactions and specific projects. Anneke acts for a broad range of private and public sector clients, including major corporations, developers, and government entities.
Anneke also has significant experience advising on climate change-related matters, including carbon markets (both voluntary and compliance) and climate-related reporting obligations. Anneke has advised on carbon crediting projects, major carbon trading transactions, and the establishment of carbon platforms and carbon-related funds. Before moving to Australia, Anneke spent eight years working in the environment and planning group at a magic circle law firm in London.
