Amelia Fontán

Amelia specialises in the area of mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory and company law and governance. She also provides advice in the fields of capital markets and restructuring.

Before becoming an expertise lawyer in Ashurst, Amelia worked for many years as an associate for two other law firms (a leading Spanish law firm and a Magic Circle law firm). During this time she was mainly involved in public company takeovers, cross-border acquisitions and start-up joint ventures. Amelia also worked for a few years in a company within the paper sector quoted in the Spanish stock exchange.
