Amaya has experience acting for clients in the areas of environmental and planning law, mining law and compulsory acquisition.
Amaya advises both government agencies and corporations in the resources sector on a broad range of matters, including regulatory approvals, compliance, environmental prosecutions and litigation. She also regularly advises clients on applications made under the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) and Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth).
Amaya has qualifications in both law and urban and environmental planning.
