Amanda specialises in Australian competition & antitrust law and consumer law. She regularly provides strategic business advice on competition law risks such as cartels, abuse of dominance and exclusivity arising from common business arrangements such as supply and distribution agreements and other dealings with competitors.
Amanda has extensive experience dealing with the ACCC in relation to all aspects of competition law, including obtaining merger clearances, negotiating divestment undertakings, making immunity and leniency applications for cartel conduct, obtaining authorisations, as well as conducting investigations in connection with ACCC information requests and litigation.
Amanda also has a deep knowledge of, and regularly advises on all aspects of the Australian consumer law, including unfair contracts, consumer guarantees, unconscionable conduct and misleading or deceptive conduct. She also writes for and edits our regular consumer law publication the "Ashurst Consumer Law Quarterly".
