Alberto Manzanares

Alberto is a Partner in both the dispute resolution team and the RSSG team of Ashurst Spain. 

He specialises in insolvency matters, civil and corporate litigation (Spanish Courts) and arbitration.

He acts for Spanish and international clients in both local and international arbitration proceedings regarding commercial contracts, transport and infrastructures. He also advocates before the Spanish Courts.

Alberto also plays a key role in the acquisition of debt portfolios, providing deep and high advice in subsequent foreclosure and insolvency matters from both a legal and a business perspective.

Alberto has a double degree in Law and Business from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed a one year study program in Monash University (Melbourne).

He is, today, a lecturer at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and at the IE Law School and is bilingual in English.
