Senior partner hire for Ashurst in Germany signals growth ambitions

    Florian was previously General Counsel at Deutsche Bank, a role he has held from 2018-2020. He had worked at Deutsche Bank since 2014 in a number of senior positions including Chief Governance Office and Head of Global Governance. Prior to this, Florian was Frankfurt head of corporate at Linklaters. With over 24 years of private practice and senior in-house positions, Florian has extensive corporate expertise and experience in corporate governance, M&A in the financial services industry, as well as investigations and anti-money laundering. Florian is also an honorary professor at EBS Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht, Member of Board of Editors of ZHR, Editor of Habersack/Drinhausen SE Recht and Beck’sches Handbuch der AG.
