On Monday 14 December Ashurst opened its doors to the next exciting phase of their operations in Perth, welcoming its people and clients to the firm's new office in the heart of the CBD.

The firm's new Perth home is the recently developed Brookfield Tower 2. The premium-grade 16 level office tower includes a custom fit-out for Ashurst, which allows a more modern and flexible working environment to benefit its people and clients. As well as updated IT infrastructure with the latest technology, the Ashurst offices include specially designed meeting and video conferencing rooms, collaborative break out areas and staff recreation space.

The building has achieved a 5 Star Green Star Design rating and is targeting a 5 Star NABERS base building rating. The property is also one of the first commercial office towers in Perth to use Tri-generation technology, which is the simultaneous production of power, heat and cooling from a single fuel source. The building incorporates a number of features designed to reduce environmental impact.

Adrian Chai, Ashurst's Perth Office Managing Partner said: "We are excited to welcome our clients to Brookfield Place Tower 2, the first time our Perth office has been in a custom built home. The space has been designed with interaction and collaboration in mind, not only within our Perth operations but with our global network.

"It is an investment in providing the best possible work environment for our people, and the best possible facilities for our clients to meet and interact with our lawyers."

Ashurst will be fully operational during the relocation process.
