Ashurst appoints Chief Financial and Operations Officer

International law firm Ashurst today announces that Jan Gooze-Zijl has been appointed Chief Financial and Operations Officer and will join the firm in February 2017. 

Jan joins from multichannel broadcaster UKTV where he is Chief Financial and Operations Officer, responsible for all financial decision-making and all technical and operational aspects of the organisation. Prior to UKTV, Jan held various commercial financial roles at Virgin Media Group and he has also held high profile positions at Telefonica O2 Europe, Accenture, Telewest Communications and Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine.

The Board comprises chairman Ben Tidswell, vice chairman Mary Padbury, managing partner Paul Jenkins, partners Roger Davies, Bernd Egbers, Jennie Mansfield, Angela Pearson, Jason Radford and independent board members Robert Gillespie and David Turner.

Ashurst's Executive Team comprises Paul Jenkins, co-heads of corporate Geoff Gishubl and Robert Ogilvy Watson, head of finance Helen Burton, head of disputes Simon Bromwich and chief people officer Caroline Rawes.
