Ashurst announces Board appointments 2019

David Jones is a partner in the real estate practice in London and also head of the real estate capital markets team and industry lead for real estate EMEA/US. David acts for some of the biggest names in the global real estate investment market on inward investment of foreign capital into European real estate, including advising on corporate real estate transactions, sales and purchases of high-value commercial real estate, joint ventures and international tax structuring. He has worked on a significant number of market-leading high-value real estate investment transactions in both the UK and continental European markets with a particular focus on international real estate M&A.
Tobias Krug is a partner in the finance practice in Frankfurt and has acted as managing partner of Ashurst in Germany over the past six years of significant growth. Tobias specialises in structured finance and capital markets with a focus on securitised and OTC derivatives, infrastructure and convertible bonds as well as corporate bonds and distressed financings. He advises leading financial institutions in relation to structured products offerings, including in relation to a wide array of underlying reference assets and across various product wrappers. He is also counsel to some of the leading debt funds in relation to secured and unsecured financings in Germany.
