Ashurst advises Commerz Real s KlimaVest Fund on a strategic partnership with AMPYR Solar Europe

Ashurst has advised Commerz Real AG's KlimaVest Fund on entering into a strategic partnership with AMPYR Solar Europe ("ASE") on the development of a pipeline of large-scale solar PV projects in Germany. The cooperation relates to an initial portfolio of three solar parks with a combined capacity of ca. 200 MWp. Under the partnership, the solar PV projects will be developed by ASE up to a ready-to-build status and ASE will provide EPC management services and support with the selection of O&M service providers to the solar parks under KlimaVest's ownership. The power produced by the solar parks will be marketed on a fully merchant (PPA) basis.
