Ashurst advises Babcock International on sale of oil and gas aviation business

    The oil and gas business, which is part of Babcock's aviation sector, provides oil and gas crew transportation services in the UK, Denmark and Australia. It is headquartered in Aberdeen, UK and employs over 500 people and operates around 30 aircraft across its three location.

    Commenting, Ashurst lead partner, Karen Davies, said: "We are delighted to have assisted the Babcock team in another important transaction - the second that Babcock have completed in only a few weeks, having successfully completed the sale of Frazer-Nash Consultancy Limited to Kellogg Brown & Root Limited in August, and it has been a pleasure to advise on both of these strategically significant deals".
