Insight Hero Image

The UK Investment Firm Prudential Regime ("IFPR") is being introduced by the FCA, and represents the most significant change to the prudential framework for UK authorised investment firms in recent times. The IFPR rules aim to streamline and make more 'fit for purpose' the prudential requirements for solo-regulated UK firms, authorised under MiFID, and as relevant their consolidated groups. The Regime is expected to come into force in January 2022.

To assist we have prepared a practical guide which provides an overview of the key aspects of business areas that will be impacted by IFPR and provides a timeline of when changes need to be prepared for and when they need to be implemented.

The information provided is not intended to be a comprehensive review of all developments in the law and practice, or to cover all aspects of those referred to.
Readers should take legal advice before applying it to specific issues or transactions.
