Amel is an associate within Ashurst's Global Market practice group, specialising in Capital Markets and structured products. She is involved in debt capital markets, derivatives and structured finance transactions, with a focus on structured products transactions. Admitted to the Paris Bar in January 2020, she holds a Master's degree in Banking and Finance Law (2017) and an university degree (Diplôme d'Université) in management, economy and finance (2017) from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
She advises leading financial institutions both in France and internationally, on a range of matters from issuance to distribution. She has a particular focus on matters relating to French law governed structured products offerings (both Prospectus Regulation compliant offers and offers non Prospectus Regulation compliant), including in relation to a wide array of underlying reference assets such as funds, indices, commodities, foreign exchange, inflation and other rates, and across a wide range of product structures.
