Ashurst boosts Paris offering with its first partner in digital economy

Global law firm Ashurst has hired Nicolas Quoy in Paris as a partner, to further build out its Digital Economy practice, as part of the continued expansion of this offering across Europe.

With more than 25 years of experience in tech, Nicolas Quoy covers the full range of IT/IP and Data/cybersecurity matters, for clients and providers, including high profile transactions and outsourcing (ITO, BPO). He advises on all types of digital projects, such as Cloud and SaaS, AI, Big Data, IT services, security, software license, data protection, copyright and trademark, disputes and pre-litigation.

Nicolas joins Ashurst with senior associate Antoine Boullet. Antoine is a graduate of Université Panthéon-Assas and Science Po Paris. He provides advisory and litigation support on all legal issues relating to information technology, personal data, intellectual property, e-commerce and media.

Nicolas Quoy joins from August Debouzy, prior to which he was a partner at an international law firm and regional legal director at Hewlett-Packard Enteprise. His hire brings Ashurst's Paris office to 20 partners. Nicolas' hire, following Ashurst's recent digital economy partner hires of Alexander Duisberg in Munich and Sunny Kumar in London, further boosts Ashurst's growing platform to advise clients on digital economy related matters at national, European and global levels.
