Ashurst advises Siemens Energy on sale of BIC Business to Triton Funds

    Ashurst advised Siemens Energy on the sale of its bushings, instrument transformer and coils business to Triton Funds. The parties have agreed not to disclose the terms and conditions of the transaction. The transaction is subject to the fulfilment of customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first half of 2024.

    The in-house legal team of Siemens Energy led by Dr Lars Stelling (Head of Legal M&A / Regulatory) and Jörn Eickhoff (Competition) comprised Dimitrios Andreadis, Sabrina Mayer and Christoph Meier (all Legal M&A).

    The German Ashurst team was led by partner Dr Thomas Sacher (Corporate). He was assisted by partners Dr Benedikt von Schorlemer (Corporate), Dr Andreas Mauroschat (Employment) and Dr Anders Kraft (Tax), counsel Volker Germann, Dr Valentin Pfisterer (both Corporate) and Dr Susanne Knoch (Tax) as well as associates Dr Konstantin Filbinger and Chris Cerny (both Corporate Transactions). 

    Furthermore, Ashurst teams were involved in particular in Paris (led by Anne Reffay) and Shanghai (led by Michael Sheng).
