Jason Maletic is a partner in Ashurst's corporate transactions team and is the co-head of Ashurst's Venture Capital and High Growth team in Australia.
Jason has over 20 years' experience in corporate and commercial advisory, and specialises in advising early stage companies through to exit. Jason is considered one of the leading venture capital lawyers in the country and regularly advises the full spectrum of clients within the venture capital and start-up community, including venture capital funds, early stage issuers, consortiums and high net worth investors. He is experienced on all aspects of the investment process from due diligence, term sheet negotiation, seed funding, security terms for preference shares, warrants, convertible notes, employee share plans and eventually through to exit (trade sales, dual tracks and IPOs).
