Huw specialises in financing for upstream oil and gas companies, including reserve-based lending, acquisition financing, corporate facilities, sale and leaseback, export credit agency and multi-lateral agency financings and restructurings.
His clients include upstream oil and gas companies, oil services companies and financiers. Huw has advised on a number of landmark transactions, including the largest ever oil and gas reserve-based lending facility in the EMEA market, a US$5bn facility for Lundin Energy and one of the most complex debt restructurings in the UKCS, for EnQuest.
Huw also has experience of high yield bond issuances for oil and gas companies, derivatives transactions and alternative financing structures including forward sales and stream financing.
