Peter Ward is a partner in the litigation and dispute resolution group in Perth.
Peter has particular expertise and experience in large-scale
construction and infrastructure project disputes, domestic and
international arbitration, government contracting and public law
In addition to dispute resolution, his practice extends to early
intervention advice to avoid disputes and advising on
incentive-based contracting in the specialist area of materiel
acquisition and sustainment, including procurement processes,
contract negotiations and contract drafting.
Peter has more than 15 years' experience, both as a solicitor and
as an advocate. He has appeared as counsel in numerous
arbitration hearings and in reported cases in the Federal Court of
Australian and in State and Territory Supreme Courts, as well as in
appellate courts. His main clients include multinational
resource and engineering companies, Australian Government agencies
and listed corporations.
