Thomas Karalis is a counsel in our dispute resolution practice
Thomas specialises in international arbitration and commercial litigation. He is a skilled all-round disputes lawyer with broad experience running large, high-value and technically complex commercial disputes. Thomas also has extensive experience on injunctive relief measures through both the Courts and Emergency Arbitrator proceedings.
Qualified in both common and civil law jurisdictions, Thomas advises a range of global clients, especially in the energy (in particular upstream oil and gas), resources, and the automotive sectors. He has a strong track record advising on disputes arising out of supply contracts, JV and shareholder agreements, and post-M&A transactions.
Thomas is also a member of the leadership team of the firm's global Committed to Change Advisory Group for the LGBTI+ strand.
Thomas is qualified in both England & Wales and Hong Kong (non-practising) and is also admitted to the Paris Bar.
Thomas was recognised as a Rising Star in International Arbitration in the Legal 500 UK 2022 and in the Legal 500 UK 2023.
