Sam Gillis is a senior associate in our projects practice
Sam specialises in providing advice on land tenure and access requirements and native title and cultural heritage matters arising from major resources, infrastructure and energy projects in Australia.
He primarily advises clients on future act processes and potential native title compensation liability arising under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth). Sam's practice focuses on negotiating native title and cultural heritage agreements between clients and traditional owner groups, including ILUAs and project specific agreements, to provide a pathway to development.
Sam also has experience advising clients on private mergers & acquisitions and construction and procurement contracting.
