Michael specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory and corporate governance. He has particular expertise in acquisitions, disposals, restructures, joint venture arrangements, private equity transactions and infrastructure projects and privatisations across a wide range of industry sectors, including consumer, food & retail, financial services, energy, telecommunications, transport, manufacturing and distribution and pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
Michael brings international experience to our corporate team, having previously worked at a leading firm in the UK. He has extensive experience in significant and complex merger and acquisition transactions, in both cross-border and domestic contexts, for major international companies, financial institutions and funds, corporate clients and government and public sector organisations.
Michael has recently acted on several significant and high profile transactions including acting for Woolworths Group Limited in relation to its A$12 billion merger of the Endeavour Drinks business and ALH Group to form the Endeavour Group integrated drinks and hospitality business and the proposed separation of Endeavour Group and acting for Lendi, Australia’s number one online digital home loan platform, on its merger with CBA's Aussie Home Loans business to create the Lendi Group, a leader in the home loans broking industry.
Michael is qualified in England & Wales and admitted in Australia.
