Dr. Maximilian Uibeleisen is a partner and member of our global resources and infrastructure team and is in charge of our German renewables practice
He focuses on advising strategic and financial investors with regard to the implementation as well as the acquisition and sale of energy and infrastructure assets. He has particular experience in renewable energy assets and conventional energy assets, chemical installations and in the transport and digital infrastructure sectors. He frequently advises on PPP-projects for federal motorways. Max also supports his clients in all environmental and permit-related aspects as well as regulatory questions, e.g. in the real estate and healthcare sectors.
Max studied law at the universities of Tübingen, Münster and Berlin (Dr. iur.) and holds a master degree (LL.M.) from Nottingham Trent University. He was admitted to the German bar in 2006. He is the author of various German and international publications and is co-author of one of the leading German commentaries on energy law.
Prior to joining Ashurst as a partner in 2016, he has been with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and with Noerr.
