Georges Simon is a partner in our tax practice
Georges specialises in international tax law, focusing on advising multinational clients on cross-border transactions and group restructurings. Georges has also developed a strong practice in real estate transactions and regularly advises Luxembourg and international corporates and investment funds on real estate investments. He has significant experience in the tax litigation field, representing taxpayers at the different levels of the tax procedure.
Georges is the Secretary of the Luxembourg branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He is a member of the tax group of the British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg (BCC) and the sub-editor of one of the main Luxembourg tax journals.
Georges is a regular speaker at international conferences and at the University of Luxembourg and the University of Zurich. He has published various articles on a wide range of Luxembourg topics.
Georges studied law at the University of Strasbourg (DJCE) and at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich (LL.M.). He received a scholarship from Fulbright for the International Tax Program (LL.M.) at New York University.
Georges was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2010.
